U Galeriji Бартcелона (Dizajn Distrikt, 1 sprat, lokal 96) večeras 18. maja (19 časova) biće svečano otvorena izložba fotografija Sonje Žugić – NET. Izložba će se moći videti do 30. maja 2015.

U nestalnim razmacima mreža izroni iz vode, obli u luk, hvata vazduh.. pa se opet izduva, izdahne i utone u vodu.. Do sledećeg udaha.. Poput riba iz dubina, izvlači misli iz zatomljenih vijuga.. Privid kretanja sred magle uprkos želji da se pobegne..

Magla vlada svetom.

Driftnet on Sonja Žugić photographs are border between conscious and unconscious, interspace of dream and reality, that very moment when still not sure if we are awake or still dreaming. She achieves it using effects of long exposition and wide cadre. All that contribute to create the atmosphere of eternity and haziness. Like a fish out of depth, net emerge from the water, draws thoughts from suppressed gyre... As the dreams itself, net dives in the deepest depths of our inner being and draws on the surface a life but also an emptiness. It not suppose to fright us because emptiness can be also filled with life,to form beautiful clear forms, exactly like nets filled with air. In Buddhism it is said, to determine the reality, ‘’sunya’’ which means emptiness. Incessantly need for content at all costs, can be very easy a trap to feel our spiritual nets with nonsenses. We should embrace the emptiness in order to touch the eternity,placidity of the sea, but also his restlessness. Because the water is the emotions, and dreams their manifestations, wanted to face with that or not, they will change us, they can help to comprehend own inner depths. And then to sail away and dive again, with lungs full of fresh air, transformed but stronger. With scars as cracks on the net but stronger to sail into the new dream. Because what is life if not a dream. Only in what we enjoy we enjoy in dreams. By Nevena Kijanovic
